For referring attorneys, any fee-division arrangement is documented up front and disclosed to the client consistent with Alabama Rule of Professional Conduct 1.5(e). For non-attorney referrals, the thank-you is our follow-through — Alabama ethics rules do not permit paying non-lawyers for referrals, and we honor that line.

2.Will you try to take my client for other matters?
No. We handle the referred matter and send the client back to you for everything else. That boundary is stated in our engagement and honored in practice — it is the reason attorneys keep referring to us.
3.How quickly will you tell me whether you can take the case?
Usually within a few business days. We run conflicts first, then an attorney in the right office reviews the summary. If the answer is no, you hear that just as fast, so your client can keep moving.
4.Can non-lawyers refer clients to you?
Absolutely — financial advisors, CPAs, clergy, counselors, real estate professionals, and past clients send us cases regularly. Alabama ethics rules do not allow us to pay non-lawyers for referrals, so what you get instead is a client who was treated well and knows who sent them somewhere good.
